This lens was converted to a Century neutral mount by Century Precision Optics, North Hollywood, CA. It is presently fitted with a PL mount, but could be fitted with Panavision, Aaton, BNCR, etc. or any still camera mount by purchasing the proper lens mount from Century. The mount simply screws onto the neutral mount on the rear of the lens. The lens covers the Super-16mm, the "Silent" or Full Super-35mm Aperture, the 35mm still camera format and Vistavision. The front and rear elements are clean and scratch free. Front and rear lens caps are included. The white paint on the lens housing has some nicks and scratches. A matching height 15mm Arri mattebox-rod lens-bridge is included.
This is the ID plate on the lens. You can also see one of the two focus knobs, the T stop ring, and the filter holder.
This is the filter holder. It holds either one 40.5mm filter or one 48mm filter. Filtration changes are fast and easy without having to remove the lens from the camera.
This is the PL mount fitted to the rear of the lens.
Any camera lens mount can be fitted: Panavision, BNCR, Arri B,
Arri PL, Arri Straight, Etc., plus many Still Camera Mounts:
Nikkor, Canon, Etc. Of course, mounted on any still camera,
all focus and aperture settings must be done manually.
Up to two 40.5mm filters can screwed into the rear of the PL mount,
in addition to the one filter in the filter holder.
This is the "Century Neutral Mount" on the rear of the lens. The supplied PL lens mount, or any other you might purchase from Century, screws on here.

40.5mm filter mounted. It can hold a stack of two filters.

This is the machined foot, suitable for mounting lens support bridges
to matte box rod systems. The height matches the heigth of the bridges
that Clairmont Camera presently uses. This is slightly different than the current
Arriflex height, but a shim of approximately 1/8 inch can be easily fabricated
to place under the lens foot and on top of a current Arriflex lens bridge to match that height.
The thread in the mounting hole is the standard 3/8-16 used for all lens bridges.
This thread is reinforced with a stainless steel "Helicoil" insert.
This is the case for the 800mm T5.6 Canon lens. A matching, "Clairmont Height" 15mm lens bridge is included. The foam in this case needs replacing. A&J case in Los Angeles can do it easily. 310-216-2170
