This is the first aerial piece to be shot with the Alexa M camera. It was mounted with a Fujinon Alura 18-80mm zoom lens in a Pictorvision "Eclipse" gyro stabilized helicopter mount, and flown on a Astar helicopter.
The aircraft is a pristine 1941 Stearman PT-17 biplane, flown by 18 year-old Sammy Mason. We flew out of Santa Paula airport, over Lake Casitas, and along the Pacific Ocean shore, near Oxnard, Caliofornia.
