Bill Bennett, ASC was the Cinematographer for this commercial for the Chevrolet Suburban. The Director was Nick Piper of Plum Productions.

 

The spot was shot on the Bonneville Salt Flats, which are flooded with 6 inches of saltwater in winter. Driving the vehicles around in the brine completely destroyed the electrical systems, and caused severe corrosion. The vehicles were all sent to the crusher after we fnished the shoot.
